  • Tufts is overenrolled, and offering new options, including semester in Peru or the US Southwest in 2023; Peru and Thailand in 2024-check box on application if interested

  • New essay questions to come (I’ll find out early if I can)

  • Will go to the waitlist for 24 students at most

Ebony Clinton Brown of Northeastern had lots of updates about growth:

  • Two new campuses in Oakland California and London means 9 flexible options

  • 96,000 applications from 117 countries/12% increase in ED applications

  • 6% admit rate to Boston fall semester/ 20% for NUin programs

  • 40% submitted test scores/20% apply exploratory

  • Letters of Recommendation matter for test-optonal applicants

  • They are done with the waitlist

Pat McNally of Boston University had more news:

  • Over 80,500 applications; admitted10.7%

  • 55% of class applied ED (up 9% from 2022) /53% sent test scores; 25% international

  • Questrom and Engineering are very competitive with highest level courses required

  • Letters of Recommendation and the “What Excites You?” essay are very important
