Bucknell was the right choice

"Overall, I think this school was a right fit for me."

Alison wanted to apply Early Decision, but there were two schools she loved. After experiencing her first semester, she's satisfied with her choice. "As a freshman being in all introduction classes, I expected to have large classes. However, all of my classes had 35 students or under and all of my professors knew my name within the first three weeks. They all also highly encourage students to come to office hours; one of my professors made it a required assignment. Classes can be challenging, but it is clear that the professors want you to succeed and will help you to. Greek life is definitely present on campus, but you cannot rush until sophomore year, so first-years aren’t as impacted by the Greek system. I love the Bucknell campus and the close-knit community."
